- Waveform
-
Waveform type.
- Recording: Select to perform recording.
- Silence: Select to generate a silence file.
- Sine: Sine wave.
- Square: Square wave.
- Triangle: Triagnle wave.
- Sawtooth: Sawtooth wave.
- White Noise: White noise.
- Frequency
-
Fundamental frequency. This value corresponds to pitch of the generated signal.
This setting is valid in Sine, Square, Triangle and Sawtooth wave cases.
- Phase
-
Initial phase of the signal in degree. This value affects the start position of wave.
This setting is valid in Sine, Square, Triangle and Sawtooth wave cases.
- Gain (dB)
-
Gain of the signal in decibels to maximum limit value (32768 in 16 bits case).
For example, the gain will be -6 dB when the amplitude is half (16384 in 16
bits case) of the limit value.
This setting is valid in Sine, Square, Triangle and Sawtooth wave cases.
A small gain value is recommended in the white noise case, because white
noise easily causes overflow.
- Gain (%)
-
Gain of the signal in percentage to maximum limit value.
For example, the gain will be 50 % when the amplitude is half (16384 in 16
bits case) of the limit value.
This setting is valid in Sine, Square, Triangle and Sawtooth wave cases.
A small gain value is recommended in the white noise case, because white
noise easily causes overflow.
- Delay
-
Delay time for the wave. The wave begins after this time.
Zero-padding is employed before the beginning.
- Duration
-
Duration time of the wave.
- Total Length
-
Total length of the signal. The total length will be automatically calculated
from Delay and Duration
in the value 0.
- Bits/Sample
-
Bits per sample of the signal.
- Sampling Frequency
-
Sampling frequency of the signal.
- Number of Channels
-
Number of channels of the signal.
